In a strange but cryptic way, Asur gives us glimpses of a beautiful portrayal of a well-executed murder mystery on the lines of Hindu Mythology, Forensics, and Philosophy. But after its release, we have got a fairly balanced review of what we could expect from it and what we might view mainly as an issue in connecting it with the Hindu Mythology and giving more importance to intuition than logic. 

 

Additionally, critics did have issues with the emphasis given on the intuition aspect compared to Sacred Games. But all this doesn't necessarily mean that it isn't worth watching this fantastic series. Although it has several connections towards several themes, it's outstanding cast leaves everyone wondering. As stated earlier, this blog's real motto was to highlight the brilliance of characters who have got this excellent opportunity through the OTT platforms. 

 

A tempting series with the brilliance of characters makes this a must-watch for all the people who binge-watch. From the very start, we know the antagonist's importance and his relevance to his past in becoming a god-like figure, Asur. A brilliant boy raised in a dark world by his father, and his terrible circumstances make him kill his father without displaying emotions or empathy. Quite strange of an Indian not showing affection towards his father. Yet, another new aspect of the series. 

 

In contrast, the brutality combined with unknown figures' killings lands two forensic officers on a mission to save people from this Asur. Dhananjay Rajpoot and Nikhil Nair, two magnificent characters of this thriller, are forensic experts. At the same time, one is the head of a team; the other is a professor at the Federal Bureau of Investigation's (FBI) training institute. After getting coordinates from an unknown stranger on his phone, Nikhil decides to leave for India and help the team solve this mystery. Here is how it starts!

 

One of the exciting aspects of the series is the writer's emphasis on female characters who play a vital role in shaping the story. Naina, a techie, and Nusrat, whose part of the team, help Dhananjay support him and Nikhil in the series. Nusrat's love for Nikhil and Nikhil's never-ending affection towards his daughter, and Naina's worry for Nikhil, emphasizes themes like family and friends' importance. It's these two characters whose significance can't be reduced or might have been overshadowed by Dhananjay and Nikhil's sterling performances, but they play a significant role in shaping Nikhil's thoughts. Nikhil is mostly in a dilemma when choosing one side as his wife points out that he is always in two places. Plus, he is also stuck when it comes to choosing his wife or murdering someone. Nikhil's brilliance is proved time and time again when he goes to committing perfection in the crimes he is forced to commit. This majorly provides us with the roles of characters in this long series.  

 

An overwhelming response, a glimpse of sheer brilliance, and an exceptional cast makes this our top 10 series to watch out for. A golden opportunity and perhaps a merrier comeback for Arshad Warsi in the form of a protagonist combined with lots of mystery is something that makes us fall in love with yet another brilliant series.

The mother of all series steps in as Money Heist becomes Netflix's global biggest hit. One could be short of words of how aww one would have been waiting for this excellent show. Someone had put it beautifully when they stated that "It has a rich tapestry of fascinating characters". Humorous, unpredictable, and masterfully written, How I met your mother is an emotionally binding show that embarks us on the journey of how Ted meets his wife. Sherlock has been well supported by Dr. Watson, a soldier, and someone who had a knack for solving crimes. Although we might think Sherlock needs no assistance, however, Dr. Watson acts as an intermediary between the fans and Sherlock. His proficient writing deeply explains the extent to which both of them go to solve mysteries as his blog continues to glorify the crimes solved by Sherlock Holmes. 

Moreover, to add spice to the series, an equivalent and a potent antagonist has also been portrayed in the series. No one could have better explained Jim Moriarity than Sherlock as he goes on stating that "Jim Moriarity isn't a man at all. He's a spider A spider at the center of the web. A criminal web a thousand threads and he knows precisely how every single one of them dances". Jim Moriarity is an ideal antagonist who makes the series more eye-grabbing for the fans. 

Furthermore, what makes Sherlock more impressive is his ability to read a person accurately and his ability to solve crimes with such ease. He makes the impossible seem possible. Think of anything that Sherlock cannot do, and you'll barely find an answer to that question. Such was the kind of impression Sherlock had on his fans, and there is no doubt that there'll be no one as genius as him. One of the exciting aspects of the series and the significant themes also revolves around Sherlock's ability to decrypt a person by just looking at him thoroughly. He can look at anyone and identify the person by using his skillful observation skills. Besides, the fascination and sheer joy that this series provides is something unquantifiable.

Suits

"Loyalty is a two-way street. If I'm asking for it from you, then you're getting it from me." The series revolves around the legendary Harvey Specter, who is the best closer the city has ever seen and hires a fraud. 

Suits also revolve around the idea of "have goals instead of dreams," "get your shit together," and "break the goddamn wall down" when your back's up against it. It miraculously admires these ideas as the series continues with Harvey and Mike's Bromance. No one could have better explained who Mike is than Alex. He goes on to state, "he's cocky, arrogant, and thinks he is the best lawyer in the room". Indeed, these words might or might not have been confirmed, but the world did witness one of the most exceptional lawyers nurtured by Harvey Specter. Mike Ross is an inspiration to young university students and helps them get into law college by writing LSAT's. His career was entirely moving in the wrong direction; however, Harvey came as a blessing to Mike. Both of them con the entire world, and their bromance is one of the significant aspects of the series as it establishes the story's central crux. 

Besides, the other characters also play a predominant role in the series. The creators have maintained an ideal balance between them, which is why we can profoundly dwell within characters and explore their actions profoundly. Louis Litt plays a vital role in the series as Harvey perfectly goes on describing him as "You're the best lawyer, and if there is one lawyer I'll be scared to go against, it would be you". Louis is indeed a master, genius, and fantastic lawyer. 

Don't make the mistake of considering Donna to be just a pretty face as one should never underestimate the significance of this person in the series as she is the only person who keeps everyone together. She is loyal, smart, sassy, and everything that you could imagine. On the other hand, the best Paralegal in the firm Rachel Zane is on the verge of becoming a lawyer. Initially, though, she makes it very clear that she never dates anyone from the office; however, Mike and Rachel went on becoming the most adorable couple of the series. Honestly, Rachel is stunning, smart, and an emotional person who is adored by everyone. 

The series is engulfed with lots of twists and turns, and there is always something for each one of us to glory about. For starters, it teaches you the necessary etiquettes required to do well at a law firm, the effective way to lead, the importance of family, and last but not least, when someone puts a gun to your head, "you take the gun, or you pull out a bigger one, or you call their bluff, or you do any one of 146 other things". It would surely be rated as excellent in body language, style, delivery, cast, direction, and story building. It is indeed a show for everyone. 

All in all, this show truly trumps the others and dominates the leaderboard. It is a show that resonates deeply within our hearts and creates an impact in our lives as always; indeed, this show will go long down in making history and will stay in our hearts forever.
